The sales tax rate is 8.250% and is distributed as follows:

  • 6.250% State of Texas
  • 1.00% City of Leon Valley
  • 0.25% Leon Valley Street Maintenance/Repair
  • 0.125% City of Leon Valley 4B Economic Development
  • 0.125% Leon Valley Crime Control District
  • 0.500% San Antonio Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA)
