City Secretary
The City Secretary for the City of Leon Valley is a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk dedicated to conducting fair, transparent, and secure elections with the highest level of integrity. Much like the Texas Secretary of State, the City Secretary’s Office takes pride in performing all duties and responsibilities with professionalism while delivering exceptional service to the public.
Mission
The mission of the Office of the City Secretary is to accurately record all actions of the City Council and City Manager, administer city elections, and ensure the authenticity, preservation, and accessibility of official records. The office oversees the City’s records management program, contract management, and fulfills public information requests in a timely and transparent manner.
In support of the City’s commitment to openness and accountability, the City Secretary’s Office plays a vital role in maintaining public trust. Residents may also contact this office to coordinate ceremonial or official functions involving the Mayor or members of the City Council.
The City Secretary’s Office serves as both a resource for residents and a vital link between the community and the City Council.
