Police Report Requests

 

In our continuing effort to improve the processing and delivery of police reports, all police reports can be requested online.

Crash Reports

 

Crash reports for the Leon Valley Police Department are distributed both electronically through the Texas Department of Transportation C.R.I.S. (Crash Records Information System) or in person at our Police Department (6400 El Verde) Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (excluding city holidays).  

Your crash/accident report will usually be ready in 10 business days.  Once posted online, crash reports will remain available via the internet.  

 

To obtain a copy of a crash report online, please click here. 

Once online at C.R.I.S., choose “Search for your crash report” (large orange box).  

Next, choose your redaction style: 

  • Redacted Crash Report or  
  • Non-Redacted Crash Report. 

Then scroll down and choose the Crash Report type and click on “Next”: 

  • Certified Crash Report 
  • Uncertified Crash Report.  

This will lead you to the Search Type where you must select an option and then click on “Next”.  

Proceed through the prompts and then purchase report.   

Online crash reports may be purchased using a major credit card and then printed.  

 

 

Incident/Offense Reports

 

For incident reports, offense reports, and all other requests for additional information, other than crash reports, submit your request to JustFOIA by clicking here.

Your incident report will usually be ready in 10 business days.
