·  Graduated with BS in Biology from St. Mary’s University and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Our Lady of the Lake University

·  Worked as a Laboratory Manager and Director for 36 years, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for hospital-based clinical laboratories. Served twenty years as Manager and then Laboratory Director over two laboratories locally within the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa hospital system followed by 16 years as an traveling Interim Laboratory Director in various hospitals and healthcare organizations outside of San Antonio.

·  Has a proven track record of success in various clinical laboratory settings across the country, entering into hospital systems and organizations in transition as a consultant and interim strategic leader to achieve budgetary, safety, quality, accreditation and customer service goals. Interim leadership responsibilities often included mentoring others within the host organization.

·  Has been a member of Leon Valley Earthwise Living Committee since 2023 and chair of the EWL committee since 2024. Served as an Alternate on the Planning & Zoning Commission since 2024.

·  Leon Valley homeowner since 1985, raised three children in the community, (active in Forest Oaks Swim team and NW Little League).

·  Hobbies include walking, gardening, and spending time with her nine grandchildren.
