Public Notice: Graffiti Abatement on Tiger Sanitation Dumpsters
The City of Leon Valley has been working with Tiger Sanitation to address graffiti found on dumpsters located at local businesses. In response, Tiger Sanitation has provided clear guidelines on how graffiti removal requests should be handled.
Who Can Request a Dumpster Swap
Only the following individuals or entities may request a dumpster swap due to graffiti:
- The business owner
- A designated business employee
- The City of Leon Valley (on behalf of the business)
Graffiti Removal Options
Option 1: Dumpster Swap
- The first graffiti-related dumpster swap is complimentary.
- Additional swaps will incur a $125.00 service fee per occurrence.
Option 2: Paint Over the Graffiti
- Business owners may paint over the graffiti themselves.
- Tiger Sanitation requires the use of KONA BROWN oil-based paint for this method.
(This option avoids any service fees.)
Reporting Graffiti
Please note: Residents cannot report graffiti on dumpsters directly to Tiger Sanitation.
Instead, all graffiti concerns should be reported to Leon Valley Code Enforcement:

- Submit a request via the MyLeonValley online request form
- Call (210) 684-1391 ext. 229 or 230
- Visit City Hall in person
Once reported, the City will notify the business owner and provide the available abatement options.
