City Closures, Cancellations & 
Operational Changes to Non-Essential City Services in Response to Covid-19

NEW UPDATE: City of Leon Valley Declaration of  Public Health Emergency 

City Hall and Municipal Court offices will partially re-open Monday, October 12, 2020; normal business hours 
 
Municipal Court will continue operating via Zoom and by appointment onlyIf you choose not to make payments in person, City services and operations will still available by phone and email. If you are feeling sick, please stay home. You may also use the brown drop box in the front of City Hall to make payments without having to come into the building.
 
All people entering City Hall will be required to:
  • wear a mask, 
  • have your temperature taken, and 
  • complete a brief health screening questionnaire. 
 
City Parks Reopening Partially
The Leon Valley City Council voted on October 6, 2020, to re-open the children's playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields (no organized sports), park pavilions (limited to 10 people), and tennis courts in Raymond Rimkus park. Basketball courts remain closed and will be readdressed at the October 20th council meeting. Please note, city leaders will continue to meet and make a determination about future events and closures as the situation warrants.

City Council

  • Regular City Council Meetings at City Hall will be held in person and will be open to the public. However, we strongly encourage you to watch the meeting online from home. Remember to access our website at www.leonvalleytexas.gov to watch, see exhibits, and submit your comments on City Council agenda items!
