Mission
Statement
The mission
of the Leon Valley Community Center is to provide a multipurpose center for area
community groups such as senior citizens and other civic events which are
involved in a multitude of activities, as well as to attract clients on a
for-rent basis for various events such as weddings, graduations, and reunions,
in an effort to off-set daily operational costs.


The Community Center boasts approximately 4,000
square feet of meeting area with a well-equipped kitchen and covered patio which
may accommodate a wide range of formal and informal events. For rental

You may download an application for the Leon Valley
Community Center. However, reservations are only guaranteed by proper receipt of
the deposit for the date desired and a completed application. Contact the Center
at (210) 521-2007 Ext 1 to inquire about availability.

AMENITIES:
A spacious covered patio, complete with ceiling fans and picnic tables is
available for additional event space. A large overhead door, located at the
rear of the building, makes delivery and event preparation convenient. Restroom
facilities include large dressing areas and several full-length mirrors. A
skirted stage area is available for a variety of event uses. Ample lighted
paved parking is provided for functions held at the center.

KITCHEN FACILITIES:
A large well-equipped kitchen facility is
available for the culinary needs of most affairs and provides a staging area for
catering services. The convenience of both exterior and interior service
windows offers flexible entertainment possibilities for any event. Modern
kitchen equipment includes a microwave oven, grill, stove, and double
refrigerator. Generous counter space offers additional preparation and service
areas.
